Question 1

What is virtual try-on?

Accepted Answer

Software that renders a garment on a shopper's own photo so they can see how it looks on them before buying, rather than judging it from a product shot on a model.

Question 2

How does LookCheck work?

Accepted Answer

Your customer uploads one photo on your product page, selects items, and the engine renders those items on their body in seconds. On the Smart Mirror, the capture is guided and happens in store.

Question 3

What kind of photo does a customer need to upload?

Accepted Answer

One clear picture showing their whole body, in a pose where their outline is visible. Higher resolution renders better. There is no guided capture sequence and no multi-step wizard online.

Question 4

Can customers try on more than one item at once?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The mix-and-match engine combines tops, bottoms, shoes, and accessories into a single photorealistic render of the complete look.

Question 5

Does the online widget recommend a size?

Accepted Answer

No. Online try-on is visual try-on. AI size recommendation is an in-store feature exclusive to the LookCheck AI Smart Mirror.

Question 6

How accurate is the Smart Mirror's size recommendation?

Accepted Answer

Under an inch of error, calculated from a guided front capture, a side capture, and the customer's height on the in-store 4K mirror.

Question 7

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

Most merchants install the app, sync their catalog automatically, and go live in under five minutes.

Question 8

Which platforms do you support?

Accepted Answer

Native apps for Shopify and Salla, a plugin for WooCommerce and WordPress, and a robust REST API for custom storefronts, marketplaces, and enterprise stacks.

Question 9

Will it slow my store down?

Accepted Answer

Rendering runs on LookCheck's remote GPU cloud infrastructure, not in your customer's browser. The widget is a lightweight script that loads nothing until a try-on is initiated.

Question 10

What if I sell unstitched fabric?

Accepted Answer

LookCheck renders finished stitched garments from raw lengths of lawn, khaddar, linen, or chiffon. It requires a brief setup with our team to map your brand's cut patterns.

Question 11

What happens to the photos customers upload?

Accepted Answer

Customer photos are encrypted in transit, processed in memory to generate the render, and immediately deleted. We do not retain images and we never train AI models on them. Rendream holds ISO 27001:2022 certification.
